Project Title Virtual Reality Assessment System
Project Category Design
Abstract Virtual Reality Assessment System (VRAS) is a web-based secondary school Mathematics assessment system which integrates virtual reality and artificial intelligence technology. It incorporates both formative and diagnostic assessment into a single assessment. VRAS differs from current assessment systems in that current systems are mainly two dimensional in nature and do not cater for students with different learning style and intelligence. VRAS enables students’ progress and learning difficulties to be effectively assessed. In addition, it enhances the students’ mathematical skills and knowledge. It also permits educators to gain a greater insight into students’ understanding of Mathematical concepts and to measure test performance more holistically. The use of VRAS will also motivate and inculcate students’ interest in the learning of Mathematics. VRAS has the potential to be adopted by the formal education system in Malaysia and worldwide.
