| Abstract |
Measuring university performance have become vital for sustaining university’s future growth and development, especially in today’s competitive education environment. Although a number of measurement systems developed for business industry have been applied to higher education, for example, Balanced Scorecard, TQM, MBNQ, EPFM, etc., a method of measuring university performance per se needs to be developed. UP-SCORE is based on KPIs that measures performance of university in specific criteria which encompasses vital indicators for overall health of a university. In addition, intangibles which enhance the university’s well-being are also measured. UP-SCORE will be of commercial value to institutions of higher learning since it is tailored made for measuring university performance and is not an adapation of a measurement systsem meant for business organization. |
