| Abstract |
This project is a green site construction layout emphasizes on the sustainable
construction. Through this site layout we are trying our best to implement the
green construction at site. Since Sarawak is at its development stage,
construction site could be found everywhere in Sarawak. With this, we could
promote green construction in Sarawak. The uniqueness about this idea is the
implementation of green site construction management where cost, time and
environmental friendly site is highlighted. Such example of the green
implementation is to collect rainwater and use it to wash plant and
machineries, recycle used materials at the site, cutting down the cost for the
materials through the planning stage at the preliminary stage of the
construction. Since the world now stresses on ‘going green’, this idea would
be helpful because in Malaysia there are a lot of construction site. With this
we could be involved in saving the environment for the future generation. |
