| Abstract |
The design of this modern apartment is inspired from the Selangor Malay
Traditional House. Although the concept of this house is modern, but the
traditional concept is still remain in this house. The combination of the modern
concept and the traditional concept can be seen clearly through the design of
the apartment, for example the roof, the column, the walls and others.
Besides, this apartment also used the traditional materials such as timber or
wood which are more environmental friendly. In order to conserve energy,
more natural lighting system is used in this apartment. The artificial lighting is
less used in this apartment. Apart from that, this apartment also uses solar
panel to get energy. This apartment has its own potential to commercial based
on its advantages, uniqueness and other characteristics of this building. |
