Abstract |
This project showcases the transformation of a two dimensional pattern into three-dimensional forms. The process is derived from nature and it represents Islamic Aesthetic Values. The resultant appears in organic and geometric forms. Through the transformation process, it produces either attractive patterns or unlimited forms when combined. An Islamic approach has been used as a key for designers in producing a new pattern. The usage, production and transformation of this design will encourage our society to appreciate the role of nature in any art pieces, as well as enriching the existing patterns. It is artistic but not individualistic as it refers to the concept of Islamic art where any creation can bring understanding and meaning towards Allah S.W.T. |
