Abstract	Teaching and learning of fine art studies courses in the field of oil paints generally require the ultimate guide in color mixing. There are many manuals books in the market, but the approaches and examples provided are based on European art and traditions. Therefore, in this research will produce a simple guide as well as illustrating the color mixing techniques of local traditional art especially the color of the people of Borneo in Sabah and Sarawak. Because this method will attract more students' interest to study the color more profoundly because the examples given are objects of the local community tradition. The product that will be produced in this study is a monograph book and the dungeon of this book is a visual and also an easy-to-read description and generally referred to student.
