A book named ’20 MITOS SENAMAN’ is written based on the common myth of exercise by beginners who just started their exercise program. This book explored the 20 myths that are most likely to be misconceptions by these people. The myths were obtained by conducting a survey among those who regularly exercise and just started their exercise in commercial gymnasiums and outdoor parks. From the survey, the 20 myths are the top idea of misconceptions from that population. Through the exploration, the myths would be likely to reset the idea of being physically active and to encourage everyone on healthy tips. One of three Malaysian adults is reported to be overweight or obese. As most Malaysians are likely to struggle with their body weight and would sign up for many kinds of exercise activities to manage this issue, this book will help them to understand that those myths are incorrect and would inspire them to get more active and healthy. A survey has also been conducted to measure the people’s understanding on the information conveyed through this book. Most of them understood and gained knowledge from the information explained by this book. It uses a very simple explanation to tackle the attention of future readers and will make them easy to understand the information shared. This book complements with interactive videos alongside with the further illustration on the myths. Barcodes are also included to link with those videos. This book is innovated further by complementing with graphic and videos illustrations making it a friendly-user book and would be likely to own by the people who love exercise and wanted to be healthy. It can be own at a very reasonable low price. The 20 myths of exercise have great potential and capability to promote exercise and correcting the myths. It shall provide great benefit and information on exercise tips, being active and practicing a healthy lifestyle among the society of any age groups. |
