Abstract |
A lack of ability in mathematics among students has received increasing
attention in the last few decades. Real number line ruler thaws their attitudes,
helps them to overcome their innumeracy and motivates them to look forward
to solving Math problems. This ruler is a better innovation to the existing
typical
ruler because it is portable and applicable to all basic Mathematics problems.
The interesting and explicit design can enhance students’ attention span in
the class. The emphasis on the right answer can be replaced with extra
emphasis on the correct process with the aid of this ruler, which can relieve
tensions among educators and students. Like any other new tool, this ruler
attempts to take on a new feature to make it fold-able in the future.
Nevertheless, I believe this tool can contribute to successful mathematical
teaching to pupils of all ages. |
