Oil palm industry has become the most important commodity in Malaysia and
therefore producing abundant wastes. Empty Fruit Bunch (EFB) is a reliable
resource because of its availability and continuity product from oil palm milling.
EFB Eco Packaging is a natural based packaging made from empty fruit bunch
has advantages such as renewable and biodegradable nature, can mitigate soil
contamination, low energy consumption during processing, eco-friendly and
cheaper than man-made fibers. EFB Eco Packaging can help local community to
generate income by selling the raw EFB and thus minimize waste in palm oil
mills. Furthermore EFB Eco Packaging has diverse product lines such as
envelopes, craft paper, woven hemp bag and stationary boxes. |
