Abstract Banana peels are the waste product of its cultivation that considered as not important and not properly utilized. Nevertheless, by utilizing its high value compounds, this problem can be recouped. Hence, it can help in solving the utilization of banana peels by developing it into anti-scar and anti-acne cream produced from 100 % edible natural ingredients and free from any chemical side effects. BP cream is an anti-scar and anti-acne cream derived from the banana peels. This banana peel contains phytochemical constituents that include polyphenols, flavonoids and selenium. These constituents indicate high antioxidant properties which help in curing acne, fading scars and fighting fine lines and wrinkles. The antioxidants in BP cream act as active components to boost the collagen, increase glutathione activity in body to protect and repair cellular damage by free radicals, building new skin cells and reducing overall oxidative stress in body. Consumer will gain back the confident as their skin will be more hydrated, look younger and flawless. Frequent application would beautify the skin without any harmful effects as it is derived from natural ingredients of tropical fruit. However, two times per day of application is also effective and sufficient. In addition, it is safe for external application. Furthermore, according to the report of Global Market Study, scar treatment products is estimated to grow from an US $ 9,472 million in 2015 to US $19,562 million in 2022; expanding at 10.9% Compounded Annual Growth Rate (CAGR), this product has a great potential in the market of nutraceutical or dermatological industries.
