Letter reference number is vital in every organization. It is used for filing and
as a reference when any business transaction occurs internally or externally.
In Faculty Information Management, the use of letter reference number is
recorded manually. Currently there is no proper management to record these
reference number. Problems will occur for those who do not record the
reference number that they used and this might lead them to lose track of the
next reference number. Hence, E-surat Rujukan is a system to keep track of
the latest letter reference number in a faculty, for example academic visit
letter, appointment letter or an appreciation letter. This system is capable of
producing a report for future references. The advantage of this system is that
it can retain a reference number without losing a designated tracking number
among the faculty members, whereby with a manual system the data is only
as accurate and as up to date as the last hand count. With the E-Surat
Rujukan, faculty members can search for a required report and instantly
identify the reference number which is being used. |
