Experiential Equation Solver is a complementary program for users of 12 to 18 years old to demystify experience dealing with algebra. Algebra is the study of mathematical symbols and the rules for manipulating symbols. Various authors report that the content of algebra is inherently difficult. Understanding abstract mathematics concepts is reliant on the ability to see how they work and visualize a problem as a set of images. By creating models, they interact with mathematical concepts, process information, observe changes, reflect on their experience, modify their thinking and draw conclusions. Experiential Equation Solver is able to enhance users’ sense of learning basic algebra. It gives chance to users to gain hands-on approach because users can manipulate and make real experience by themselves. Experiential Equation Solver enables users to gain the mathematical power by understanding the process of algebra, building solid foundation in basic algebra and develops their self-esteem. |
