The system serves as a channel of communication between the lecturers and the scheduling committee. It enables lecturers to provide their preferences of dates and time, and any other relevant information using a 24-hour online system. Besides, it also allows the scheduling committee to disseminate information and display rules and regulations pertaining to the examination invigilation. When the invigilation schedule is ready, lecturers can obtain a summary of their individual invigilation duties, and view the invigilation schedule as well as examination timetable through the Internet. This automated way of capturing and disseminating invigilation information paves the way for the development of a systematic approach in preparing examination invigilation schedule.
