Abstract |
Easy Order is a design that can be used by most of the restaurants. It is
made to reduce the human error in getting the order from the customer.
Basically, waiter tends to wait for so long for the customer to make order
while at the same time there are many customers to be served. As for
customers side, they always have problem in receiving the wrong ordered
menu and this will result in an unsatisfied customer. These errors are due to
the crowded customers at the time and there exists the barriers in
communication. The design of Easy Order is really helpful to the owner of
the restaurant where it can reduce cost in hiring workers. Easy Order acts
as the waiter, where the customers just have to apply this application system
through their tablets or hand-phones. The uniqueness of this design is that,
customers' do not have to wait for too long for waiter but all they have to do
is just to click on the menu what they want and that message is directly
received by the chef or workers in the kitchen. Last but not least, Easy Order
will bring positive impact to the socioeconomic where it will help in reducing
cost of hiring workers but at the same time increase the profit in income. To
the community even, it would ease the work in restaurant and surely
customers will be satisfied with the restaurant service. Overall, there is
commercialization potential of this design as it is an application system
required by many owners of restaurants in reaching zero human error. |
