Utilisation of antibaterial dish washing liquid for domestic use is demanded
for hygiene as a form of antibacterial disinfectant in kitchen, cookwares,
sponges, clothes and dishes in which food residues are present. Most dish
washing liquid can only remove dried, oily and greasy stains. In fact, current
products in the market use synthetic chemical causing some side effects
such as skin allergies. This antibacterial dish washing liquid contains fresh
natural aromatic calamansi essential oil extracted by hydrodistillation from
calamansi Citrus microcarpa tested effective for antibacterial activity against
Pseudomonas aeruginosa, staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and
streptococcus pyogenes. It can be used as a form of household and
domestic product to prevent food borne diseases and hygienic solutions. |
