| Abstract |
Communication between graduates and university can be suitable for both
sides. Web based software system called UiTM Sarawak ALUMNI
information system was developed under the initiative of UiTM Sarawak
Research and Industrial Linkages Division. Our university aims to
present its graduates to the public. The university also wants to keep in
touch with its graduates using web application, providing a channel for
professional and social communication between graduates themselves and
the university. The UiTM Sarawak ALUMNI information system focuses on
design and implementation to accomplish these needs. A graduate of UiTM
Sarawak is a person who has been studying at this university for at least
three years or more. During this period graduates establish a lot
of social contacts with their classmates and their lecturers as well. After
graduating, they normally loose contact with each other. However, the
university does not want this trend to continue. The university can see its
graduates as potential business and expertise partners with the possibility of
cooperation after their studies. Graduates are very good source of
information and critics that could help to improve the quality of the university.
The UiTM Sarawak Alumni information system can act as the medium for
graduates to communicate with university and among other graduates as
well. |
