Abstract A-G (Auto-Green) Detector is a design made based on the concept of green technology for application on the street lights. The main idea here is that the street light system will only, and automatically takes place whenever a vehicle is passing the detectors installed at the selected main points during the night time. The system will operate by using a censor at a few points on the street and also loading detector which is installed under the street pavement. Once the vehicles passed through the censors and minimum load is received by the loading detector, the street lights will be automatically turned on until they pass through the end of the road, which then will also be detected by the system together with a timer, before the street lights turn off. The design of this system is beneficial since the traffic volume is always low at night time and this is also a good investment for the state government as there will be less maintenance and low cost being spend in long term duration. The flexibility in the design of this system is also what makes it special. Nonetheless, the concept applied here will be in line with the agenda of the government which is to reduce the usage of electricity while conserving the environment. We believe that this design has a high potential in commercialization due to its cost effective manner while achieving sustainable environment.
