| Abstract |
100SGC is referring to 100 SIMPLE GREEN CONCEPTS that can be
integrated into a house design which is more economical and environmental
friendly. Our project, a 3D model of INTEGRATED ECO-HOUSE is a design
that provides the balance between homebuilding and sustainable
environment. The idea is mainly to tackle the global warming issue that has
been lauded to be related to construction sector as the main contributor. It is
a challenge for developers and designers nowadays to provide a more
comfortable and productive space in their design while minimizing the
environmental impact. However, we have proved that it is actually not
impossible, through our developed 3D house model. The proposed design
was introduced to efficiently use the energy, water and other resources
which will automatically reduce waste, pollution and environmental
degradation. Moreover, it is also good for the occupants’ health. The design
has so many positive impacts compared to the conventional house design.
The rate of green development in Malaysia is slow at the moment and we
believe that the government and construction sector as well as the public
only need a reliable paradigm shift and continuous support or incentive to
ensure that everyone is serious into supporting the campaign on moving
towards sustainable development. This will possibly enhance the lifestyle
and economic structure of our nation in the future. We believe that the
100SGC INTEGRATED ECO-HOUSE DESIGN will have a large potential in
the current national and international industrial market as it offers lower
price while conserving the environment. |
