| Abstract |
The innovation being introduced here is a package of bamboo sticks which
can be used for classroom and home educational aid. It is suitable for
children of age 4 and above. The Package offers various teaching methods
of different disciplines by using the sticks as the main item. It focuses on
teaching and learning of creative problem solving skills, visualization skills
and communication skills, which is pivotal especially bridging the bond with
children and help them to build up these skills since young. This includes the
mathematical problem solving skills particularly multiples and dimension
calculations. They can also learn to engineer the scaffold of a model building
they wish to build. On top of that, the Package allows them to play with their
end product that built up unintentionally when they produce the solution for
the problems. The Package is an economical teaching aid. Thus, by using
the methods taught in the Package, teachers, parents or even children
themselves would be able to utilize it anytime, anywhere that they feel
comfortable with. In addition, the Package offers various kinds of learning
which might empower children’s learning ability in future and enables adults
to teach or play with children. The Package comes with a booklet of
methods for various kinds of learning mentioned and some tools serve as a
starter kit for them to start with. This Package is believed to have a high
potential for commercialization as it is not only used to teach and learn but
