| Abstract |
The i-pen is a computerized writing tool that allows the user to
switch head sizes within a single pen. For artists and
professionals who must use multiple line sizes in their work, the
i-pen is an invaluable resource. Instead of carrying six pens
(and trying to find the pen they need next), the i-pen allows the
user to change head size with the touch of a button. In addition,
the pen can be used as a stylus with touch screen devices, such
as tablets or phones. Thus the i-pen achieves 3 goals. It: (1)
reduces the number of pens the artist must carry, making it ideal
for travel, (2) supports a wide range of line sizes, (3) is useful in
both digital and manual applications. |
