EC tool is an innovated fruit picking device. It has two main functions, which
is to harvest the fruits and also to prune branches of trees. The harvested
fruits will be directed to the trolley by a long net or sack which is attached to
the EC tool. This net or sack could minimize damages to fruits during
harvest. This product is easy to handle. It is a combination of a skettier,
expandable sack or net, extendable alloy rod, a brake of bicycle and trolley.
The skettier is controlled by the handle of bicycle brake which is directly
connected to a roller at the very top of the alloy rod. The cut fruit will get into
the expandable sack or net which is then directed to a trolley. In addition,
harvesting the fruit can be made in large quantities with pleasure without
compromising the quality of fruits. Therefore, the quality of fruit production
can be maintained and therefore, increase its market value. Moreover, EC
tool reduce the labor cost and time for collecting fruits. Also, it helps to
improve the socio-economic standard of the farmers. The high quality fruits
can be exported abroad in large numbers and certainly increase the income
for the country. EC tool can be commercialized due to the cheap cost
production and its variety of functions.
