Kindergarten Students Automated Record System (Kiddy STARS) is an
automated system intended to record kindergarten students’ information
systematically. It is specifically designed for the Little Caliphs franchising
program. The current system operates manually where parents need to
register their kids by filling in a manual form. The staff then needs to enter
all the information from the form into a worksheet in Excel. This task
consumes much time as the number of students registered at the
kindergarten is increasing every year and the kindergarten itself expands
gradually each year with the increasing number of branches. The data entry
process may experience human error, which will cause inaccurate
information stored. On the other hand, manual records retrieval become
more difficult with the increased number of students. Therefore, a system to
record and administer the students’ data systematically is really needed.
Kiddy STARS functions to record, update and view students’ records at any
time which may reduce human errors, save time and cost. |
