Abstract Regular exfoliation is essential for our skin to remove accumulating dead skin cells and unclogging pores in order to maintain a healthy and glowing skin. This innovation relates to a bathing device for gently washing and scraping action with finely selected ingredients. Cymboofah combines from the words "cymbopogon", commonly known as lemongrass and "loofah", a natural fibre, made from a fast growing vegetables or fruits. The cymboofah is formulated 100% from natural ingredients ranging from lemongrass essential oil, olive oil, coconut oil and lemongrass stem. This 2 in 1 lemongrass loofah soap contains shredded loofah as the gentle exfoliant which can be used to remove dead skin cells and promotes the growth of new ones. It is ideal for foot, hand and body exfoliation. While lemongrass is an anti- bacterial herb that can control the growth of bacteria. It is also a great fungicidal which helps cure fungus infection on the skin. The rubefaciant properties of lemongrass is able to improve blood circulation and the calming aroma can reduce stress and insomnia. The presence of vitamin A in lemongrass makes it helpful in fighting acne problem. This soap is innovated to meet the need of emerging beauty industries and the desire of modern-day consumer for practical and convenient daily items. In a broad scale, the Cymboofah has a bright potential to be commercialized due to its multifunction uses combined with authentic natural ingredients. It will also compromise the best price in market as the production costs is cheaper and the ingredients are easier to get than any comparable products.
