Abstract This digital grammar board game (DGB Game) is created to make learning more exciting. With the rise of mobile gaming platforms, having a digital board game in the mainstream will help to captivate and retain learner’s interest in learning English grammar (adjectives and verbs) in a more entertaining way. The pictures in the board game help to stimulate learner’s mind to provide the correct adjectives and verbs to complement them. This DGB Game will also enable learners to learn the correct spelling of adjectives and verbs. Besides that, it trains students’ mind to think and act fast. In addition, it can be played at anytime and anywhere. This interactive way of learning has an edge over the traditional teacher-centred approach in that the focus is on learners. Hence, this learner-centred approach motivates and moulds learners to be independent learners. Moreover, it serves as a useful teaching aid for educators in secondary schools and even tertiary institutions to teach grammar. It has potential to be commercialized as currently there is no mobile application to teach and learn adjectives and verbs in this manner. On top of that, its fascinating and interactive nature will attract learners of the digital era.
