Mastering English grammar is a very challenging and, at times, frustrating process. The proposed Interactive Grammar Software (IGS) will give a new dimension to the mastery of English grammar, making learning more effective and interesting through its web-based interactive approach. The IGS approach is also based on Bloom’s Taxonomy of educational objectives. It takes into cognizance the fact that the language abilities of learners may vary, by offering a gradual progression of levels of difficulty in our lessons. This is achieved through three levels - Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced levels - corresponding with Knowledge & Comprehension (Foundation), Application & Analysis (Intermediate) and finally, Synthesis & Evaluation (Advanced). This innovative software has also been developed specifically with ESL learners in mind – on a broader spectrum, the context is Asian and Malaysian learners will find it easy to relate to and engage with the activities and exercises provided. |
