Abstract |
CSEII V2 is the extended version of CSEII. It is also a standardized version of CSEII. CSEII V2 is a computerized school effectiveness indicator designed for the Ministry of Education and educational institutions. It is designed to measure the level of school effectiveness of a respective school. Consisting of five dimensions, and 15 sub-dimensions, CSEII V2 is able to determine the level of school effectiveness and also provides scores for each of the dimensions and sub-dimensions. The differences of CSEII V2 from the present CSEII are the weightage for each of the dimensions and sub-dimensions. Compared to CSEII, the weightage for each dimension and sub-dimension of CSEII V2 is equally emphasized. The uniqueness of CSEII V2 is it provides spontaneous feedbacks. From the feedbacks, school principals are able to know their administrative strengths and weaknesses and this can help signpost future activities to improve the performance of their respective schools. CSEII V2 has the potential to be commercialized because it can be an alternative means of measuring school effectiveness.
