IMAFEG is a mobile application product that lends a new perspective to the process of English language learning through its contextualized interactive mode as well as relative ease of accessibility using the mobile phone. The IMAFEG takes into cognizance the fact that almost every child has a handphone these days, and that the K2 generation children, being more IT-savvy than their predecessors, will find the concept of learning technology-enhanced applications more appealing than traditional classroom learning with its attendant constraints. The IMAFEG approach is firmly grounded in Bloom’s taxonomy of educational objectives. Bearing in mind that the language abilities of learners may vary, this approach offers a gradual progression in the levels of language mastery i.e Elementary, Intermediate and Advanced lessons. |
