3ReMate is a material that applies 3R concept to make house and building models and replicas, where ‘3Re’ stands for ‘Reduce’, ‘Reuse’ and ‘Recycle', while ‘Mate’ stands for material. Its production process seeks to promote sustainable principles. 3ReMate is durable although it is made from recycled paper products like newspapers and magazines. Thus, 3ReMate helps to reduce forest harvesting and paper waste generated every year. The skill and technique making paper straws from old paper products and later assembling them into a house and building models and replicas make it looks neat and sturdy. Its low production cost will excite commercialization opportunities as conventional house model making is quite costly as it involves various types of materials. In addition, 3ReMate responds to the government’s green policy and the world’s call to save earth. |
