Abstract |
The ‘Sarawak Rosette’ is a rosette that proposes to represent Sarawakian with its unique culture in national and international functions. It also serves as a souvenir for tourist. Each rosette is unique. It is handmade from various types of leftover materials from tailoring such as the ‘talun bark’, ‘pua kumbu’ and local satin or from other souvenirs. The uniqueness of the rosette promotes the local culture and at the same time, it generates income for the local society when produced in bulk. Therefore, the potential to commercialize the product is high. This product also helps to develop and diversify the Sarawak handicraft industry. The product also supports government policy to go for green. |
