Project Title Kitchen Garbage Disposal System
Project Category Innovation
Abstract The Kitchen Garbage Disposal System provides an efficient method of disposing biodegradable garbage. Kitchen garbage is the filthiest and smelliest of garbage which attracts flies, rodents and dogs which scavenge the garbage creating a mess and spreading diseases. This system consists of a chute bin, mounted on the ground surface, connected to a pit under the ground. The biodegradable waste deposited into the chute will land into the pit and disintegrate underground through anaerobic process. The Disposal System, not only rids the problem of smell and pests, it also reduces the total volume of the kitchen waste to be disposed of and the handling of filthy garbage by the garbage collectors. In addition the kitchen waste can be recycled into materials to improve the soil fertility. This will solve the nationwide problem of smelly garbage and the need for landfills. Moreover, it will provide employment for countless businesses and services.
