Langgir Wonder Soap is a multipurpose organic soap with cosmetic and medicinal values that enhance beauty and health. The main ingredients come from the smoked dried Langgir fruit rinds that contain relatively high zinc, vitamins and natural saponin which are protective agents, enriched with anti-viral, anti-bacterial, and anti-fungal. Buah Langgir (Xanthophyllum amoenum) is an indigenous fruit of Borneo, that can remove impurities and toxins from the body based on traditional knowledge especially during confinement after birth and after menstruation. It also acts as a scrub that exfoliates dead skin. The added virgin olive oil moisturizes the skin. Langgir Wonder Soap can be an alternative to soaps that come with a host of chemicals that can jeopardize unconsciously both human skin and human health. The production of this soap will generate income to the rural communities as Buah Langgir though abundant in the wild, currently does not have much economic value. |
