| Abstract | PORVEC was designed to measure the verticality of column formwork for housing projects. PORVEC is a vertical sized 1” x 2” light aluminium innovation. PORVEC is placed in a centred position to make the column formwork straight. The plumbob is used together with the spirit level bubbles to measure the verticality of the column formwork. After the formwork column is installed, the verticality of the formwork can be checked. The user will also be able to pour concrete inside the formwork which is already aligned. PORVEC is portable and light in weight. In addition, the method of fabrication is very easy, the operation does not require any expertise and it saves time. The cost of materials is cheaper than theodolite. PORVEC will provide an accurate measurement of verticality of column formwork, leading to a higher standard of construction. |
