| Abstract |
The 'Smart Helmet' project was initiated to help reduce the probability of road accidents among
motorcyclists. Two of the main causes of accidents are the distractions by ringing mobile phones while riding
and faulty headlights. The 'Smart Helmet' incorporates built-in headphones which allow motorcyclists to answer calls, speak clearly and listen to their favorite music while riding their motocycles. In addition, the helmet has an emergency light
on top which can be used to substitute failing headlights at night. |
