WebCED is a web-based system designed to facilitate students in learning reinforced concrete design. The design of reinforced concrete elements involves lengthy procedure which often overwhelms students. WebCED provides an interactive platform to guide students through the design process and allows them the flexibility to learn at their own pace. It consists of design modules to execute section design for reinforced concrete beam, slab, column and footing respectively. The solution is presented as a comprehensive step-by-step solution accompanied by a selection of reinforcements. WebCED is ideal for blended learning and distance learning. |
