Abstract	The common practice of smallholder farmers in maintaining water quality in canvas tank culture is to discharge the sludgy water containing fish waste into the drain and replenishing with dechlorinated water. The objective is to design and implement a cost effective and environmental friendly system. Aquaculture Tank Cleaning System is an assembly of water pumps and filter tank recycling water back to the fish tank. The sludge collected in the filter is used as biofertiliser. The system eliminates water pollution to the environment which is an impact to aquaculture industry and converting sludge to biofertiliser highly demanded in agriculture industry.
