| Abstract |
The aim of this project is to develop an alumni linkage web based system in UiTM Sarawak. The purpose of this alumni linkage web based system is to collect data and manage the information of UiTM Sarawak alumni/graduate students on their current status and to set up a database to store the collected data. The information includes personal information (e.g: Name, IC No) and current job information (e.g.: Job, organization, sector, job related, duration of getting employed). The creation of this prototype system is deemed necessary as currently no alumni linkage web based system for UiTM Sarawak has been made. To fulfill user requirement, this system can be used to analyze and calculate the percentage of students based on specific criteria and then, able to generate report automatically. The webpage system is created with the idea and base of simplicity and directness. Each component in the system is utilized in a very user friendly interface. The webpage is created in such a way that even a beginner user of Internet surfing and computers will be able to use it. This system will assist UiTM Sarawak, especially at HEP (Hal Ehwal Pelajar) management level to effectively manage alumni/graduate student’s information, hence enabling a better decision making process. |
