The International Conference on Sustainable Smart Cities (ICSSC 2026) aims to serve as a global platform for the exchange of cutting-edge research, best practices, and innovative solutions in the planning, development, and implementation of smart cities. The conference seeks to foster strategic collaborations and strengthen linkages among academic researchers, industry leaders, urban planners, technology providers, and policymakers at local, regional, national, and international levels. Through these partnerships, ICSSC 2026 aspires to advance sustainable, resilient, and inclusive urban transformation worldwide.

What are Our OBJECTIVES?

The objectives of the conference

  • Provide an international platform to examine emerging innovations, trends, challenges, research findings, case studies, and practical solutions in smart city theory, design, and implementation that support sustainable urban development.
  • Facilitate meaningful exchange of knowledge, expertise, and experiences among academia, industry, policymakers, and smart city practitioners.
  • Promote effective knowledge dissemination and technical know-how transfer to strengthen smart city planning, implementation, and operational capacities.
  • Strengthen strategic, multi-level partnerships among academia, industry, government, and community stakeholders to support long-term smart city development.
  • Enhance collaboration and alignment with related smart city initiatives at the local, regional, national, and international levels to ensure coordinated and impactful urban transformation.

Call for Papers & Submissions

The extended paper should include an abstract, an introduction, materials and methods, results and discussion, acknowledgement and references sections. The word “Abstract” should be written in bold with no more than 200 words, written in 10 pt Arial font and consist of a short background, brief description of methods, summary of results, and conclusion. The text should be written using 11 pt Arial font. The article must be at a minimum of 4 pages and maximum of 5 pages (single-spaced) in the length excluding the references, divided in sections (e.g. introduction, methodology, results and discussions, concluding remarks) and should clearly present the problem/focus of the study, its methodology, its findings and conclusions. Figures and tables can be included and should be centered with a resolution of at least 300 dpi. The paper size should be 8.5 x 11 inches with 1-inch margins. The paper should be submitted as Microsoft Office Word (.doc) by e-mail attachment to the secretariat.
